The Chamber of Thrift Banks (CTB), the umbrella organization for Philippine thrift and savings banks, presents a token of appreciation to Bangko Sentral Governor Amando Tetangco, Jr. (third from left) after his session at CTB’s National Convention on April 7, 2015 at Dusit Thani Manila in Makati City. With the theme “Thrift Banks: Meeting the Challenges of a Buoyant Economy,” the convention aims to prepare thrift banks to level up into new markets and better serve the needs of their clientelle, especially the MSMEs, as they compete in the regional global markets. Gov. Tetangco was the convention’s keynote speaker and spoke on “Economic Prospects and the State of the Thrift Banking Industry.” With Gov.
