Department of Transportation and Communications Secretary Mar Roxas receives a token of appreciation from Chamber of Thrift Banks (CTB) and HSBC Savings Bank President Patrick Cheng during CTB’s general membership meeting held recently at Mandarin Oriental Manila, where he assured bankers and investors that the government’s infrastructure projects under the Private-Public Partnership will be completed on time and invited them to invest in key projects of the government. Among the projects Sec. Roxas wanted bankers to invest into are airports in Puerto Princesa in Palawan, Panglao in Bohol and Legaspi in Albay. These airports are expected to boost tourism in those provinces.
