BSP Chief at Chamber of Thrift Banks’ Convention


The Chamber of Thrift Banks (CTB), the umbrella organization for Philippine thrift and savings banks, presents a token of appreciation to Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Amado Tetangco, Jr. (center) after his session at CTB’s National Convention on March 19, 2014 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Makati City. With the theme “Thrift Banks: Preparing for the 2015 ASEAN Integration,” the convention aims to prepare CTB’s member banks for the challenges of a unified Southeast Asian market upon the implementation of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations’ (ASEAN) Economic Community Integration. Gov. Tetangco was the convention’s keynote speaker and spoke on “Economic Prospects and the State of Thrift Banking Industry”. With Gov.
